Wang Work Blog Week #8

This week I made revisions for my final draft based on feedback from both the class and the Crisis Center. They had commented that I didn't explain Information and Referrals in my poster so one of my main changes was to incorporate that information. This was pretty challenging because I had included it in my first draft but it gave the poster a very cluttered look. I resolved this problem by removing one portion of text from the middle of hte poster and placing at the top. This way I was able to fit everything necessary without the poster being too text-heavy. Other changes I made included changing the color of the text at the top to a more muted color so it wouldn't be too harsh and difficult to read.

Additionally, I communicated with my group members to make sure that somebody would be able to post the final draft since I knew I would be in an area with limited internet connection. Charley took the responsibility and we emailed our documents to each other by Tuesday afternoon so we could give feedback on each other's documents. All in all it was a very good experience and I learned a lot about how challenging online (or any kind) of group work could be. I think our group improved our communication as the project progressed and I will definitely remember this experience for any future group projects.
