From the crisis center's comment, they pointed out that my document might scare off the potential volunteer, since the visual is too strong. They also mentioned the lack of positive message in it. After considering their comment, I realize the message my document convey to its viewers too forceful and simple. My goal for the document was to, in lack of better term, force people to think about the topic we often forcefully ignore. But the text and the visual used for my initial document failed to achieve this end. So I modified both text and the visual. The purpose of my modified text in my document is to provide viewers with an idea and a reason we all can relate to in considering the topic that is both unpleasant and difficult-suicide. To many, suicide gives the impression of individual suffering. But by relating others into the equation, the topic becomes relative to many viewers. This is only one of many views. But if the text made viewers think even for a second about the topic, then the text achieved its objective. As for the design, due to its nature of the work, I reckoned people who are capable of performing the job must be well informed in the topic and are very intelligent. So I used the designed similar to the one used as a cover for the book published by penguin classics to emphasize the humanity aspect of the job. So by viewing the design, a viewer can immediately grasp the nature of issue dealt with in the document. And the drawing is beautifully drawn, which I believe would get a attention of many viewers, and will require little observation to understand the message behind the drawing.

But I made one fatal mistake when I was submitting my final draft to my team member for it to be turned in. I failed to attach the document! Not realizing this major mistake I went to sleep, and woke up to find that the document was not received by my team. So I sent my document to the center and my peers. Never hurt to double check.
