Sorry this is late, I tried to access the site wednesday around 6:00 pm and was unable to due to the site being down. I also just moved into a new apartment and just now got the internet hooked up yesterday and also had a busy work schedule with both jobs the past couple days, so this was first chance to get on a computer, so again I apologize.
The first source I found is www.sci.usq.edu.au/staff/dekeyser/googledocs.pdf. I found this source helpful because first of all on page 5 it introduced me to what exactly google docs is, since I had never even heard of this program until this class. Second, this source touches upon the advantages of google docs. For example the fact that google docs is a "lightweight application" as they put it, meaning that no configuring of one's computer is needed to run the program. And lastly this source also discusses disadvantages, for example the fact that google docs does not allow off line editing of documents.
My second source is a person testimonial in the form of a blog. The blog can be viewed at http://blog.novedge.com/2007/09/google-docs-sec.html. It discusses the security issues and flaws of google docs. The author shares with us his personal experience of accidentally gaining access to another user's documents. Although this source may not be the best source for gaining credibility, but it would be excellent for backing up other sources that discuss security issues.
The next source I found was another about the security of google docs. The link for this source is as folows, /www.techcrunch.com/2006/10/18/google-security-mishaps-and-user-trust/ This source also talks about how the security of google docs may be compromised and that documents that are saved may not be safe like the help page promises. This source also discusses the history of google docs flaws. This also ties into the previous source because it will provide supportive credibility to the previous source.
