Attached are comments for your resume and cover letter. Overall, I feel that you have a great understanding on the requirements of each professional document. Regarding your cover letter, one major improvement you can make is regarding work experience. Since you have already had a J.P. Morgan Chase internship experience, you should elaborate on what you have previously gained and contributed to this company. Also make sure to mention education experiences and outline what significant concepts and applications you have learned. This letter was well written and is focused on its purpose, to be persuasive. For your resume, one issue is the formatting. The content should be justified further to the left, which will provide more space and more room for sub-bullet points for further descriptions. Change the objective statement to be more specific to your field of study, and to the best interests of J.P. Morgan Chase. Also, be careful not to be too vague on the descriptions of your education or work experiences. Provide more descriptions to the aspects or the resume which will be most beneficial in pursuing a job at J.P. Morgan Chase. The resume only requires several format and content changes; otherwise I believe you have a great understanding of what the resume requires. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns of my review. Good Luck!

A very good start

After reading through your cover letter and resume for the assistant branch manager at J.P. Morgan Chase I felt that you have a solid foundation as an applicant for this position. I am also an OLS major so I find it interesting to see what types of jobs and experiences other people in my major are seeking to obtain as a professional. I first read your resume and one of the first things that I noticed was the format at the top of the page could have been more effective. I feel that your name should be centered at the top of the page with your contact information centered under that. This helps the recruiter or reader follow everything in order on your resume. One of your biggest strengths that I garnered from your resume was that you have multiple work experiences that can play a role in the position you’re applying for. One formatting/ design issue that I feel is a weakness right now is that not all the information fits onto one page. I feel that if you would remove the last job listed on your resume and add in a section that includes something like relevant coursework or activities/ skills then you can increase value and effectiveness on your resume all while keeping it on one page.
As for your cover letter, I felt that you did a very good job of stating the purpose and intent of your letter. I think this letter is where you would want to address your past job experiences and use them as support to your argument that you have customer service skills, the ability to work in a team and leadership skills. I think a great opportunity for an example of situation would be when you mention that you take leadership roles within classes at Purdue. If you could figure out a way to incorporate a personal experience that could translate to a possible working situation that I feel that could be a huge asset to your applicant status. Finally, I have one formatting suggestion for you. Your name and contact information should be located under your signed signature at the bottom of the letter. I think you have a fantastic start here and let me know if you need anymore help!
