All,

Please find attached Group One's Project Three Submission.

The concept was to use GoogleDocs for the Purdue Division of Financial Aid.

We look forward to any comments.

Reading Response Week 6

Guide to White Papers for the Non-Technical Person.

White papers are documents typically written by industry or government that expound upon a specific topic. Document content can range from technical toe theoretical and can cover everything from psychology to engineering. Week 06 Project Log - Defining the Project

This weeks the group felt out exactly how we are going to communicate. We have people all over the country at the moment, so communication online is about the only viable option. Its an interesting thing since this is the way I have seen quite a few businesses run. A

A GoogleDocs Spreadsheet was created this week to allow everyone to 'sign up' for parts of the assignment. The Spreadsheet also allows for changes to be made by the entire group to project outline.

T-Letter

Please find attached my first draft of a T-Letter.

This seems to be a great way to submit a resume to a company because it describes exactly what you are offering relative to what they are looking for.

I found this job on the CCO, and it would be a job I could apply for right now.

I look forward to constructive comments and criticisms.

Reading Response - Friday, Week 3

I would like to start off by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed “A Glimpse and a Hook”. It was intriguing to get within the head of a Human Relations Manager during the hiring process. The thought process and scanning structure were interesting to say the least, and were informative to a point.

Instruction Usability Review

I chose to test my instructions for G-mail on one of my roommates. He is an upper level Engineering student with no experience with G-mail. He has used Microsoft Hotmail in the past, and this was his first exposure to G-mail. He is web savvy, and therefore had no trouble completing the account creation portion of the exercise.

Chapter 24 and 25 Review, Instruction review

I’m going to start off by assessing the chapters assigned for today, and then I will progress onto the usability of the directions that I found.

Chapters 24 and 25 were informative in explaining to the reader how the graphical layout and other aesthetic items of a layout can benefit a given text selection. I found the selection about the information age destroying the printed age fascinating.
