I think the complaint sounds valid. First of all the customer sounds devoted, as if he has been purchasing Jimmy Dean Sausage for a while. He explains the needs of his family and why it's so obvious that the 4 oz difference is substantial. I can also see why a company would do this in order to increase profit, they may have even considered that their customers might not notice. Overall though it was difficult to find credible sources for the inquiry. It didn't seem to be a major news story and one website had posted that the issue has been resolved.
