When I saw this brochure it caught my eye right away with its vibrant colors. The first page is what made me pick this one. First the car is on the road, in a city, on a really beautiful day. No one is on the road and the looks like it could go fast. Everyone wants to get in a car and go fast and a goal would be no one on that road while you press the pedal to the metal. They also choose a city of all places to go fast. This makes it even more enjoyable on a nice sunny day. Buy this car and you can get where you want fast. Along with going fast it a very stylish looking car. It is a classy car. The colors are chosen very well for the brochure making it more appealing. The color of the surrounding buildings, the road and the green trees make the color of the car even more appealing. As you continue throughout the brochure you get continually hit with pictures that give you the same feeling of wanting to own that car. All the pictures are classy and stylish. I believe BMW has used the principle of contrast in this brochure. All of the pictures have sharp features when you look at them. The colors and typography all draw attention to your eyes. Because this style of contrast is used, your eyes are automatically drawn to the car, which is there goal so it works out perfect for the company.
I think this is an important factor when it comes to a brochure. The first thing that has to come into play when you first look at something is how it looks. If you want people to look at your brochure then you have to give it a great appearance. After you get the people’s attention then you want to have them want to read your brochure because of the style you used to lure them in with. In our brochure I hope to try and accomplish this task but intriguing people to read the information.

I agree about this brochure, it is incredibly colorful at first glance. The scene is beautiful to say the least, I must be honest my computer background is a BMW picture just like this. They have great photographers. They achieve great contrast by picking the color of the cars when opposed to their respective backgrounds, you make an excellent point about that fact. You also mention contrast with regards to the sharpness and focus, great point. Overall it's a great analysis on the visual aspects of this brochure.

They did a nice job of picking a colors that harmonize well with each other. The colors of the landscape along with the car blend very well. I don't think it is so much contrast that is achieved here. They are playing with colors in the same family that give the image an overall warm comforting feeling. For me that makes me think that driving this car would be a comforting experience.

The visual images in this brochure are most definitely the most important thing. They truly depict a certain feeling or attitude that the reader is supposed to get when looking at this brochure. The colors are so crisp and vibrant that they make a very bold statement about the car. I also like that in some of the pictures the background is blurred, but the car is always in focus. I think this portrays the idea that people won't be able to take their eyes off this BMW. I think this really shows how important images can be when trying to make a point.

The brochure is definitely colorful and exciting. I agree with everyone else, the appearance is the most important part of this brochure. I really like the page where the car and semi are driving side-by-side and the car is reflected on the semi, with the tag "reflection of your desire." The way they display their ideas while showing their design is really thought our and definitely will catch the audiences eye.

I second you Andrea. The appearance is the most important part of this brochure. Starting with the cover, they have a great picture which gets the buyer into it. Everybody loves driving on a wide open road in a city and not having to worry about any traffic. They also picked a red car to try and get you emotionally attached to car with passion, love, and desire. They continue to show you more pictures of the car from all different angles, and make it seem like you are flying with the road. The blur added in the pictures was well done. The body of the car is all fine, but the surrounding area is moving behind it. These pictures show you how much you really want the car before you read up on the information about it. Then they do a great job of laying out the information for you and showing you what your different options are. Great brochure done by BMW and like Dorthy said, the images really make it the brochure it is.

I like this brochure very much not only because that BMW is one of my favorite brand but also it design. I believe that this brochure is trying to convey the massage that no matter where it is, BMW will always be the most outstanding one; especially, in the brochure they chose the metallic red model. From the image of the car to the interior than the data, this brochure really catches people mind, because some of the people like me don’t really understand the car or don’t even care about its performance, we just want something that looks nice and also catch other’s eye. This brochure really has this kind of magic; it makes people like me want to go check out the car. One other thing I really liked is that this brochure compared the data of two different models in a very detail way, gives you the right of choice to choose which one is the most suitable for you. I think that this brochure is a very successful example that doesn’t contain lots of words but actually provide detail information and also attract people’s attention.

I agree with what you noted on your response. The colors that are used in this brochure sure makes the message strong and persuades the buyers wanting to own this car. I also think the use of effective pictures added spice to the brochure as well. Without saying too much, the picture says it all and it catches the attention. I agree that brochures should be made to appeal to customers and this bmw brochure does it all.

Wow, this is a very colorful and complex brochure. It gives some really nice graphics and pictures. It portrays the BMW very well. The only picture they are missing is a picture of the engine bay and the engine itself. Although they do give all the specifications of the engine, they do not show this picture. I like how they show the different types of interior choices that one has to choose from. This brochure does a great job at showing upscale quality and luxury of BMW. If I had the money, I would definitely purchase one.

This brochure is very interesting. The bright display of colors catches the eyes of the readers and emphasizes the information which the author intends to focus upon. With the graphics, more emphasis is placed on the information and helps to coninuatlly draw in the eyes of the reader. Without the graphics, the brochure would not promote the car and draw in the newer customers. Having all the options with the car available, it appeals to a larger group of consumers, which will ultimately be more profitable for the company. I would definetley purchase this brand of car, but much later in life when my bank account can support it!
love always,

This brochure looks great even though I'd take a Benz over a Beamer any day of the week. This brochure does a great job of getting the readers attention from the images they used on the first seven pages. Car brochure need to present the vehicle in different angles so the customer can see the car the whole car if they are unable to see one in person. They did a great job presenting potential customers with the specs of the exterior and interior of the BMW. All car brochures also must have the performance and engine specs of the vehicle and they did a good job organizing the information on the last few pages.
