AUFMANN Work Blog #8

This week was full of revisions and finalizing our documents. My part of the project was designing the brochure and the second revision of it. While looking at the feedback from the client, I tried to follow their directions. They wanted the logo present and prominent. I changed the logo from being in the background of the cover and moved it so it was standing out on its own. This way the reader can know the company’s name and can connect the name with the company’s logo. Another big change to the brochure was changing the pictures to incorporate more images from past plays. The client wanted more diversity and using different pictures will allow the reader to notice the range of characters Tantalus creates. I took the watermark out to make it easier for the audience to read the brochure. The white background made the brochure bland, so I changed it to a light blue. I wanted it to contrast against the text and images. This allows them to pop out at the reader. I changed the color of the headlines to a dark purple color and kept the text black. This unified the headlines, yet separated them from the text. Our group did a lot of work for this project and I think it shows through our professionalism in the brochure and flyer.
