THRUSH Work Blog Week #8

The last week of the Service learning Project went really well. At the beginning of the week I wrote the weekly Activity report and emailed it to Professor Plough. On the following days I spent most of my time doing revising activities. I wrote several blogs and emails to my group members about suggestions and corrections that need to be made to both the brochure and flyer. I also talked a lot with Nicole and Phil on AIM. During this project, I have found AIM to be the most effective form of communication. After using AIM on this project, I think I will try to use it with other groups I work with in the future. Finally, I was in charge of submitting the final draft for the service learning project. Once I was emailed both the flyer and the brochure, I took some time to look over them carefully. After looking over the flyer and brochure and not finding any mistakes, I read the project details on the course website. I felt that it was important to make sure we included everything that needed to be included in the final submission of the project. Once I was satisfied, I submitted the brochure, the flyer, and the Gantt chart I made previously. After making the final submission online, I started working on the project assessment and peer evaluation. Overall, I feel this was a good project. I was placed in a good group where everyone pulled their weight evenly which resulted in a successful ending to the project.
