AKRE Work Blog Week #8

This final week our group was able to pull everything together. I was responsible for putting all finishing touches on our brochure. I changed everything suggested by Ed and a number of things suggested by our peers. I also spent a lot of time trying to make sure I implemented everything suggested by our client. The hardest thing I had to do was find a better and more fitting font for our cover page. I experimented with a number of fonts before I finally picked one. The other nearly as difficult task was selecting a few new graphics for the brochure to show more of what Tantalus does. I didn’t want to use all the same graphics as their old brochures, but I needed ones with the right emotions, and right colors. I looked through all the pictures on their website and all the ones on their MySpace, before finally replacing some on our original brochure. Before labeling the brochure done, I did a final read through making sure there were not grammatical errors and that there were no words being separated by hyphens. Once the brochure was complete I got to work on my final individual work of the course.
