Reading Response
Mon, 07/21/2008 - 11:12 — kdharingAfter reading the assigned reading material I have greater understanding of what exactly goes into writing an email as opposed to a memo. I found it interesting when it was necessary for an attachment and when it wasn't. I use attachments quite often so I'm glad to have greater understanding on that topic.

Rhetoric of Employment Documents
Tue, 06/17/2008 - 11:11 — bphutchiThe reading titled "The Rhetoric of Employment Documents" grabbed my attention fairly quickly. This is because the article discusses in quite simple terms how we get jobs. We either know someone who knows someone who can give us a job or we have to apply. The article then goes on to briefly discuss how critical employment documents, such as a resume, can be to our success in the professional realm. The article also touched on an interesting aspect of our rapidly changing technological world.

It can also be used to earn or maintain good will such as writing a thank you note or praising a coworker. Since various types of professional writing are crucial for the work place, it is important that we are able to communicate effectively with cowokers and other people your company needs to interact wtih. Rhetoric of Professional Writing
Mon, 06/16/2008 - 11:19 — dmichticIn reading the Rhetoric of Professional Writing, I believe that it is of great benefit to any company to produce projects using collaboration. With the exception of projects that may be easily completed, it may benefit any company to collaborate as much as often because the more people present the more they can think of. It is common sense that the more people you assemble, the more ideas you can gather. you will have the ability to form a more well-rounded project with more rather then less people.
