okay so coming to the end of class.
We met yesterday and tried finishing the brochure on the benefits of adopting a dog from the humane society.
We finished our presentation today in class and will be submitting our brochure on monday .

This class taught a lot and was really good

We finished our proposal on monday and submitted it to the professor. We met on sunday to work on the proposal.

Our team went to the humane society on saturday evening and interviewed Brittany Nelson. It was a really good experience. And now we are putting everything together to make a sucessful brochure on the benefits of adopting a dog.

Our next meeting is scheduled on wednesday where everyone will finish their part of work for compilation .

This paper talked alot about memos and email. Most of it was common sense like the subject line in an email. Moeover, i had never thought that an email can be so formal. Moreover, proposals include persuading people unlike our previous project. The most important part of a proposal is the appendices. Any proposal should help answer questions like why does it matter, so what?, who wil it help and how.

Hence it was a good reading experience on knowing more about proposals and email

Me, Kshiti AND stephen met yesterday to complete the final white paper draft and go over the presentation once. It was a succesful meeting with everyone coming prepared.

First we completed the draft where we brushed up on the work cited page , borders, contrast, repition.

Then we skimmed through the presentation.

okay now this was like a pain going through everything and putting things together.
While doing the draft me , stephen and kshiti met for 4 hours.. worked on respective parts with me finsihing up on my air pollution and hydrogen solution by doing intense researh...
Then the time came when we had to compile things but till that time we were exhausted. We were trying to innovate new ideas of making it more artistic and landed up doing a good job.

We did a really good job during this meeting. We got things done in timely manner and were out in time.

Our group finished the executive summary yesterday when we met in krannert for 2 hours. We worked as a team ..with everyone making their point in the executive summary.
I am working on the air pollution : background, problems and solution to it. I have almost finished my part and will be ready with it when we meet tomorrow again to fix things up. Our draft should be done by tomorrow with everyone doing their respective work and sending it to kshiti ... who will put everything in it's right order for a perfect flow

Our group(Ronak,kshiti,stephen) have been meeting regularly to go about the project. We have divided responsibilites amongst ourselves with everyone being given equal amount of work. We communicate through email once a day discussing about the daily update and if new research was found.
So far I have finished my part of 1 problem and 1 solution on air pollution in detroit.
We will be emailing everything to kshiti and she will be putting everything all together.

Our research has been quite extensive due to centralizing our topic of pollution in detroit

After reading over research this weekend, i realized how important research is in obtaining information. No matter how much convincing the write up is, if it does not contain a research analysis then it will not be a believable write up. It also helped us open our eyes in the matter that library still exist and stil lhas a lot of information which internet cannot provide. If we browse information over the internet then it sometimes cannot be trustable but written books are worth the money as they are written by scholarly people.

I, Kshiti Jikar and Stephen Zych are going to talk about the increasing pollution in the developed countries like United States, United Kingdom, China etc. We will covering ways these pollutions are created and the ways we can stop them or bring them at stagnancy.

Possible solutions can be
1. Green roof
2. Hydrogen consumption
3. Regulating the power plants
4. Recycling plastic at a large scale

For the white paper project I believe that co rec would be a great idea. These days the co rec has been under a lot of issues. The colby fitness center has been not renovated ever since it has been built and with the increasing number of students at Purdue every year it would be a great issue to solve and design. Moreover the basket ball courts in there are old and the air conditioner is not even effective in inside due to more people being there in a small place. This topic is being discussed from the top authorities of Purdue to the people like us.
