We met yesterday and completed the benefits required in the brochure. We also went through small changes in the format and color combinations. We need to do the final touch up. Today , we presented our brochure , whats in it and why we went for AHHS.

After the client meeting our group completed the proposal which was due on monday. We did our job successfully and turned in the proposal.

Our group set up a meeting with one of the coordinator in the almost home humane society. Finally we met her on the 19th july, 08 and discussed our project. With her assistance we could gather some information about the dog adoption procedure, some benefits and the goals of the organization.

in the reading Memos and E-Mail, i found a valid point to add or not to add attachments in an email. Before reading this topic i never took care of sending attachments only when required. At the same time if you send an attachment for a small note which has important dates on it then it is easy for the reader to save information and not take more steps copy pasting it to a diary.

ronak, stephen and i successfully completed the entire white paper draft. i dont think there is anything left in writing or designing. We last met on sunday to work on the design, captions and footers. Hopefully, we completed the work. Also, we are done with the presentation in class. It was nice working in a group with stephen and ronak.

Ronak, Stephen and I almost completed the white paper. We did the body, introduction and conclusion thoroughly. All we need to do now is add captions and refrences as foot notes. We completed our job on thursday evening in kran lab. WE shall meet up next on sunday to work on the final draft and also put together some slides for the presentation.

I am going to write about one of the background/problems and a solution to pollution. To start with i did some research online on the journals and articles. I succeeded in finding some visiual aids on the topic online. My group is going to meet up on July 10th to put the individual assigned work together. However, introduction and executive summary was worked by us together.

My group (Ronak Mehta, Stephen Zych and I) met in the Krannert computer lab on July 8th to move further in white paper draft. We successfully completed the executive summary. We will be meeting next on the 10th of july to do the rough draft.

I was not surprised by the textbook methods of research. Since everything that is given in the text book is done by us. With growing awareness in internet sources through google, yahoo and other search engines, it is not uncommon that students want to search for resources online. I did not learn anything new from this reading. However, i learned about online reference rooms. I have never used that for getting resources.

With the on growing recession in the USA, one of the things employed people are worried about is their future. Questions, like what if the company colapses ? what if i get retrenched ? what if the company is taken over and i am without job?, arises. We all have to face this cruel fact for another 5-10 years. Therefore, i think the insurance companies should start a new policy for the employees. This policy not only claims for the medication but also reimburses a certain amount in case the employee is driven out of the company due some other reasons except for his personal mistakes.
