Reading Memos and emails was really beneficial to us.As always the readings assigned to us have some piece of knowledge for us. I learnt that attachments which is a word I see prolly a millions time while I mail is very important. It cab be of so many uses and also a saviour. When we send attachemnts the user can actually save it which can help in case the email is deleted. Also, it helps in keeping a track of when and the time.

We met up in class after the client meeting one of the days. We had enough material with us to go about. He had sent us the old brochures and also gave us ideas to go about. We divided the work and started working on it. It was fun and I learnt a lot during this project.

Our Group divided into two. Chris nd myself went to Cafe Royale and met up with the staff. We got the contact information. Later on, we met up with the president of the martial arts club.After negotiation, we came to a conclusion to do brochure for his club as it is not very famous in Purdue and most people are not aware of it. Our group presented him the idea of how to make the club more popular and spreading awareness and attracting people.

I, Jose and Mandy are going to talk about the Increase In gas prices. We decided to talk about this topic as it is the burning issue in the US. Moreover, the increase in gasoline prices has effected the wallet of common man. The rich people are not affected as much as the working class/middle class society. Moreover, research in this topic will help us combat this problem and come up with various new solutions. We can decide on something which is feasible to everyone. Moreover, US being one of the highest consuming gasoline countries should look for ways of using other sources of energy.

The progress of the white paper project is pretty descent. We started of knowing the shallow details but as time progressed and research became more intense and narrow, I have landed up with a lot of knowledge on my topic. My topic is Public Transport should be encouraged. I learnt how the use of public transport is already at a surge and how can we encourage it more among the people by various strategies that the goverment can implement.

In my reading this assignment, I realize that the white paper is targeteed to a particular audience or setting rather than a wide range of people. Having read this assignmnet gave me a good idea of what a white paper project looks like. It is more like a report but it pecifically points at the problem and suggests the necessary solutions. It is more dirct you can say. i found that it is very necessary to workin a group, do your indivisual work and listen to others in the group. Also, make sure that everyone in the group is given equal importance.

The gas prices rising at an alarming rate has become one of the major issues to talk about. Not only are the students finding it difficult to travel but even old people feel that it has become an additional expense to everyone pocket. I was almost on the verge of purchasing a clk but the increase in gas price actually forced me to drop the idea of buying a car. West Lafayette climate is highly unpredicatble. With the snow all over the campus, it becomes very diffciult to go to the gym or work from one end of the campus to the other end.

i read the article " Rhetoric of Professional Writing." One thing that I liked about this article was it gave me practical knowledge. I know I can use this knowledge in my every day life. Moreover, it was not boring at all as they gave usreal life situations. i liked the first chapter,' Understanding the Purpose.' This chapter lays importance on the importance of communication. Moreover, how do we make our written conversation according to our purpose. It actually helps me realize the importance of writing the various cover letters, resumes, informal letters,etc.

Holaa!! I am Dinesh and I come from Dubai. If you guys don't know where that place is on the globe, it is in the middle East. ( One of the best places to go Clubbing nd shopping ). So, yaya all teenagers fav place!!! I am doing an Accounting major with a minor in MIS. It is tough and I will have to slog lol....I love listning to Craig David, Bob MArley. not to forget Apple bottom jeans and Love in the Club (Usher). I love getting high on Music and the other stuff lol...Okay, i am bored so lemme end it ...I HATE THE GYM but i am forced to go there!!!LOL
