English 421K, Technical Writing

I am 22 years old and was born in South Bend, Indiana. I am a Senior and a Coop student in Mechanical Engineering. In total I have worked four semesters for Air Products and Chemicals divided up between a plant in Houston, Texas and the company's corporate headquarters located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

My name is Young Jin Shin who comes from Korea. After I finished my Ph. D. Degree in Korea last year, I came here to work for Purdue as research associate. I am involved in a project named "Geotechnical Design based on CPT & PMT". which belongs to Geotechnical area in Civil engineering. It looks like I have done so well so far even though my ph. D. subject was a little different from current research. When it comes to personal life, it is so great to live in states so far. Sometimes it is tough because I am not used to American way or this system, but I am totally satisfied with it.

Hello all. Greetings and welcome to my page! Before we continue with everything, let me introduce myself. My name is Aiman Shamsul Iwardi. I prefer people call me by my first name, Aiman. I'm an Industrial Engineering major student and I just finished my first year program in Purdue. I came from Malaysia, one of the country in South East Asia. So basically, I'm an international student here in Purdue. I'm interested in engineering, money and business world as well as politics. Motorsports is part of me.

I am a biology major, with an interest in teaching high school or middle school.

My full name is Andrew Peter Swart. I am an undergrad student here at Purdue in my fourth year in MET (Mechanical Engineering Technology). My first two years of college I attended IUK (Indiana University Kokomo) for Purdue programs. Last fall (fall '08) was my first semester at Purdue West Lafayette campus. This summer I am taking ENGL421K and OLS252 which are two required classes for MET in the school of Technology. I plan to graduate on time which would be next May or at the latest next August.

My name is Amber Worman. I am just starting my Senior year, and I am majoring in Biology with a specialization in Ecology. I've been doing undergraduate research since the beginning of my Freshman year at Purdue. I decided to take this class because I thought it would be more enjoyable than business writing, and would be more provide a more useful skill set than the business writing class.

I'm Cory Allen, and I grew up in the Lafayette area. I currently work at the local Caterpillar plant as an Assembly Engineering Intern. I am in technical writing to fulfill my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree requirements. If everything goes according to plan, I'll graduate in May 2009.

I am a junior in electrical engineering here at Purdue and a Naval Midshipman in ROTC. I am taking the class because part of the requirements for completing the NROTC program is a second english course in addition to ENGL106.

I am currently a senior in the Selling and Sales Management program at Purdue University. I am enrolled in English 421K because it, or English 420, is required by my major.

My name is Lauren and I am from Fort Wayne Indiana. I am in my fifth year of college, and this will be my third year at Purdue's West Lafayette campus. My major is non Pre-Med Biology, and I have minors in Criminal Forensics and Anthropology. I work part time at Sears' jewelry department, and have a cat named Mina.
