Amber Worman - Web Mail project

Here's my Web Mail project - it's a Power Point (.ppt) so you can just open it up and go through the presentation if you'd like. (Not sure if we are supposed to post comments...)

Great design, I really like the use of visuals and your layout choices. There are a couple slides, specifically Compose, Folders, and Search, where I felt overwhelmed by the column of text. I understand you probably went to the two column layout to change things up a bit; but perhaps making the text slightly smaller and breaking up those paragraphs would help. Finally, I was slightly confused in the Empty Trash slide, primarily because I don't have that option in my tool bar. I don't recall ever having one either...weird.

I also was kind of thrown off by the empty trash button- it most likely was a maintenance I opted out of. Anyway, overall Amber, great job. Very informative and easy to navigate. One comment regarding navigation- most if not all of the 'Home' buttons would send me to next slide. If you got this worked out the slide show would be seamless. Regarding content, I felt as if the compose and folders slides were a little dense. If you could break them down into more of a step process it would be so much easier to read and understand.

I also would like to know where my empty trash button is? lol anyways the powerpoint did a good job laying out all the different information and your table of contents was a good idea to direct them where they need. I felt like i got through all of it very well, i don't think the sections that they talk about are to long but the idea of maybe making the font smaller and and breaking it up in paragraphs is a good idea. On a project like this its better to be more descriptive than to not have enough information.
