Attached is my instruction draft with usability questions below.

1.Do you feel you could succesfully perform this preflight?
was it simple?
straightforward?
2. Do you understand the purpose of the walk around?
3. Is this list format easy to read?
easy to follow along?
easy to keep your place?
4. Other then knowing exactly what specific components look like, is anything unclear or confusing?
5. Would component pictures be helpful?
6. Are the instructions to light or too dense?
7. Do you get the sense that this is an important step in operating an aircraft?
8. Any other comments?

Under Warnings and Safety Info, it seems that the first letter of all the bullets are different. the second line of one bullet looks bolded while other second lines of the same bullet do not. one bullet is not bolded. the bullets that start with "T" look less bolded then the "B's" or "D's".
all the headings are center aligned.
between pages 5 and 6 the playsafe logo at the bottom moves.
it seems that some pages use 1 column, others 2 and others 3 main columns, all center aligned.
i don't know how i feel about the color assembly photos opposite the black and white hardware photos.

What is the point of this memo? It just seems to be a lot of information about company policy and safety.

"Black box is a technical term for a device or system or object when it is viewed primarily in terms of its input and output characteristics. Almost anything might occasionally be referred to as a black box: a transistor, an algorithm, humans, the Internet." In this case the term black box refers to the fact that it can be very obscure as to how the inputs were transformed into the outputs as a result of passing through the box in question.

This article is pretty much awful for younger readers. The title is boring and doesn't spark interest or catch the readers eye. It should stand out a bit more with color or font. The article itself is plain black text, no spacing, running on and on. The text should be spaced out a little bit more to make it easier for teenagers to read. The article definetly needs some pictures to help make the article less bland. I think that maybe two columns would help the readablility a bit. I think the information is good and will be understandable by the younger readers.
