I would come clean on my mistake as soon as possible. I would first attempt to contact the firm by phone, and ask to speak with a human resource representative. Once the apology has been made, I would do my best to explain my true talents. Finally, I would write a letter of apology to whom it may concern. I would then send an updated copy of my resume with the correct talents displayed.
