Amber Worman - Swing SetPage 5 - Image at the top is too small. It would be very useful if it were larger. Page 6 - The table format is consistant, but looks very odd. Not many instructions use this format. Page 6 - The picture in step 4 is helpful to show what the swing set should look like "at this stage." Page 7 - The first image could be a little larger to see what the "hands" are actually doing. Page 9 - This layout is the best one so far. It has clearly labeled pictures of everything anyone would need to know about.

Amber Worman - Web Mail project
Here's my Web Mail project - it's a Power Point (.ppt) so you can just open it up and go through the presentation if you'd like. (Not sure if we are supposed to post comments...)

Amber Worman - Revision ChallengeThe first thing I noticed was the lack of a good subject. "Re: FYI" does not tell the readers anything; Vicki needs to put her actual subject or main point in this area. Something like "Re: Mandatory Chemical Safety Meeting" would work well.

Amber Worman - Word History "jinx"Jinx The word "jinx" usually means a person or an object that brings bad luck. Black cats can be considered a kind of jinx; being too confident can also be a jinx. No one is sure of the exact history of the word jinx. Some say that it is the plural form of the word "jink," which means "to dodge or turn evasively." Others say the word comes from the Jinx - or wryneck - bird, a bird commonly used in magic and witchcraft. Still others say the word comes from the 17th Century word jyng, which means "a spell."

Amber Worman - PMU Draft (2 files)My document is two separate Word documents (Page 1 and Page 2 are separate files) Please make your comments in a text file; don't use the Track Changes option because I'm afraid it will mess up the formatting (which took forever, lol) This is written with the idea of it being a double-sided, laminated guide that is handed out to new students who are touring the PMU. I left the second floor out because there is nothing up there that would really concern new students. Thanks!

Amber Worman - SSINFO guide
Attached is my guide for using SSINFO. I wanted to use a relaxed tone, so it may seem a little unprofessional, but I felt it would suit a "new student user guide" better than a technical tone.
If you use Word to track changes and it seems like it is messing up the format, you can just use Notepad to make a text file or something with your comments and suggestions and attach it in your reply.
Thanks!

Amber Worman - Revision ChallengeNothing beats a snow day, right? No school, tons of snow, hot chocolate, and a whole day of fun outside with your friends! When spending a long time outside in the winter, it is also important to be safe while you are having fun. The best way to be safe in the cold is to be aware of the things that can go wrong so you can protect yourself from them. There are two main things you need to watch out for when you are playing outside in cold weather: frostbite, and hypothermia. Frostbite
