Reading Response Week 4

I’ve read some blogs posted in www.jetbluehostage.com and I think some of them are just unbelievable.

My reading response

The audience that we are addressing is a group of probably angry and very dissatisfied customers. JetBlue completely let them down and I am sure there were quite a few of them that were absolutely furious. I think going before the crisis they felt that JetBlue was a great and reliable airline.

Reading Response Week 4

I found a video on YouTube that is filmed by an actual passenger affected by the Jet Blue Crisis. The passenger is stranded in Cancun after his midnight flight back to the United States had been delayed. He says that it is now 1 PM the next day and they are still waiting to hear news of when they are leaving. He and the rest of the passengers are confused, tired, and irritated.

The article I chose for this week’s reading response comes from this article. It isn’t an article with many first hand customer’s responses to the actual event, but it gives insight as to what other people have thought about JetBlue’s Customer Bill of Rights as well as Mr. Neeleman’s response.

Customer's Thoughts

The audience that I am addressing is the customers that feel they did not get the usual JetBlue experience. The reactions of the customers are very different from one passenger to another.

Passengers Respond to JetBlue Crisis

After watching the YouTube video provided as well as browsing other YouTube videos and blogs, I truly felt bad for these passengers. The particular video I watched, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOo-tG9q2h0, was of 3 passengers stranded in the airport for days just because their flight was cancelled. Everything that could have gone wrong for these people did.

I chose a Youtube video similar to assigned video, the address for this video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYadgb2c-EU&feature=related. I chose this video because it tells of the struggles that the passengers on board the Jet Blue planes went through.
