Asmoro Work Blog Week #8

This week, I continue to pay close attentions to the group emails. I made suggestions on the press release and I revised the final version of the poster and flyer. Jimmy came up with the original poster design, but I redid most of the layout and coloring using Adobe Photoshop so that it becomes more eye-catching. I also redid the layout, coloring and design of the flyer.

Asmoro Work Blog Week #7

This week I really participated on the group’s activity. I checked every email I received from the group regarding the project and make suggestions on each revision of the press release, poster, and flyer. I offered to make revisions on the flyer and the group liked it. That flyer revision was finally chosen to be turned in as the second draft.

Asmoro Work blog Week #6

This was the week when I started to notice that I’d been receiving emails regarding the English 420 class. As I said in week 5 work blog post, I still sort of ignored the emails because I thought they were just things that I had to do for the class assignments and I was just going to do them later since I was busy with work again.

Asmoro Work Blog Week 5

I absolutely did not participate at any group activities at all this week. Since I am way behind on this class, I did not even realize that we had any group projects. I thought everything was going to be individual. It was really my mistake since I just scan the syllabus real quick the very first day I logged-in into the course Web site. I am a workaholic.

Haston Work Blog Week # 8

This past week has been a great week. We were finally able to get all of the pieces of the project finished and on time. It was a rough week, but I am extremely happy with our final outcome. I think that it looks professional and conveys the correct point to the reader.

RIGGS Work Blog Week #8

This week was dedicated to making the final revisions to the group project. I began by addressing the comments made by the clients about the press release. My major concern was to switch from a passive to active tone. The clients made it clear that they were not looking for a press release that was written in passive voice. Then I addressed the comments made by my peers.

Shahapurkar Work Blog Week 8

Going into the final week of our class, we realized we had almost completed our final revision, with a few minor corrections here and there. These corrections were minimal and were a combination of our classmate’s revisions as well as the clients.

HESLER Work Blog Week 8

This week was a little less hectic compared to the rest of them. Not having a reading response or any responses/replies due this week helped out a lot with the work load. This week was shorter compared to the others; this made things a little tougher because things were due sooner than they were before.

Luscombe Work Blog Week #8

This week was our best week by far, our group did a great job working together and we came up with a great final project. I was really happy with every part of the project. I realized after reading all the different feedback that we got that I really needed to think about just start from scratch when it came to my flyer.

LOZEVSKI Work Blog Week 8

This week was the final week of class and focused on finishing the Service Learning Project. On Monday and Tuesday I reviewed the Jane’s comments on my press release and made the recommended changes. The Crisis Center said that the press release was concise and easy to read, which I was happy to hear, but also said that its weakness was using a passive voice.
