Reading Response Week 6

There is really nothing that I could say regarding my draft for this week since I have not really participated on the group project yet. I just now started to recognize the emails and start to keep up with the emails. I think what Sheila, Kevin, and Jimmy had done is great. I really like Sheila’s press release because the way she worded her sentences are interesting and easy to read and understand. Jimmy had done a good job on the poster by using different colors, sizes, and uses bold or italic words to highlight important information. I personally think that Kevin’s flyer is a little bit too wordy, but it is a little bit hard to not to be wordy on posters or flyers like this since there are just a lot of information that needed to be covered.

I did read chapter 24 and chapter 37. I find chapter 24 to be more interesting than chapter 37. I also feel like chapter 24 is more related to this subject. However, I really do like the content of chapter 37. It really helps when you need to create sentences and how to place them together. It really gives me great tips as English is not my first language. Overall, this handbook is very interesting and useful. I used an earlier version of this handbook when I took English 421 in my freshman year. Usually I sold my books right away after the end of the semester but this handbook was the only book that I kept because of its wonderful content.
