Peer Review Draft

Peer Review

First off, very nice looking cover page.  It looks professional and made me interested.  The information presented in the document, especially on the first page, is influential.  It basically says to me that I'd be stupid not to use your product, in a nice way.  The text is easy to read, but I feel that it is lacking some color or background.  I noticed in your Doc Specs you said you would possibly do some sort of leaves or environmental background, which could work.  I think you know this, but you need more images (which may also add some color to the black and white text).  Also, I wasn't sure what size paper this would be printing off on.  I know you said it was a flyer, but I see 4 pages.  Try to get it together in a way that someone could tell how it goes together.  I noticed that you had a link in the document, but obviously no one can click on it if it's a paper copy.  You could probably make your citations a little bit smaller than the other text as it is not as important to the reader.

With everything you have, I think it's a great start and I'm sure you'll get it all worked out by the time it's done.  Good job.

overall a great start

The document has great information on the first and fourth
page. I think the warnings were a great idea, but much smaller font would be
better (they steal the show right now). The table of specs could be cut down
and some things removed (I know this is a rough draft I’ve just got to say it).
I’m very curious about the back page where you can calculate your savings,
which is really exciting. Provided it is simple to calculate and steps are easy
to follow. Your title page is great, but I think that the draft 1, date, and
your names should be removed as this is supposed to appear to be marketing
material from the company making the product.

Draft 1: peer review

I think you are off to a great start, but I think you can add more to this draft.  I think your title page is great, although you should not include your names and the date on the bottom, you can add the link for the image here.  Your second page needs more, either images or more features (not just specs) about the CFL bulbs.  For the third page, I would try to fit all of the specs onto one page with the picture.  On the last page, I would try to add another small picture or two to make your document more "visually appealing."  Overall you're off to a great start!
