English 106: Introductory Composition at Purdue

Hello all! And welcome to Introductory Composition at Purdue! I'm really looking forward to a great semester. The main theme or thread throughout the course is advocacy. We'll be focusing on how individuals and professional organizations best use audience awareness, individual or group credibilty, and research to best deliver a message of advocacy and gain support for a cause. We will also be exploring the different mediums through which these messages are delivered, including Web pages, posters, short movie clips, and even video games.
