2 design log

This layout was done for a story about Michigan football and what they are doing to help athletes maintain grades while performing well on the team. I'm not a Michigan fan, but I like this design because they were able to use the photo of the stadium for the lay-out. I like designs that aren't made to look like cartoons, I prefer ones that use a photo. I also think the headline works well with the capitol letters, it doesn't say much but the reader can gather from galancing at it and the photo in the background that the story has something to do with football and grades.
