the real project 5 - magazine

I forgot to combine all the files into the one pdf, so here it is again, with all the parts.

Project 5 - magazine

Here is the final draft of my magazine.  I was a little unsure how the cover turned out.  I was just wondering if the overall theme of the magazine looks alright.  I looked at a lot of magazines for ideas.

finished project 4

here are all the parts together.

project 4 flyer

here is my project 4 band flyer.  It was hard to refine the images so they looked the band album covers.  The compass looks a little too real, except for the directions of course.  other than that, I had a fun time designing this document.

design log week 13

super soaker.jpg

So my friends and I went on a 90s binge, and we remembered playing with the super soaker.  We looked back at images of them, and realized that they are some of the ugliest things ever designed.  I had the super soaker 50, and it was yellow and green.  These were very boring colors.  i think it would have been better if the super soaker had some more colors.  The newer versions of the super soaker were much better, however, the super soaker 50 was probably the coolest toy ever. They could have at least changed the color of the pump.

project log week 13 project 4 starts

I just started working on project 5.  I will complete my brief for class tuesday.  I plan on creating a magazine for my fantasy football team from last season.  I will probably use photoshop and illustrator to complete the documents.  Also, I am going to start working on project 4.  I plan on creating an invitation to a party over the summer.  I will use InDesign, photoshop, and illustrator for the invitation.  I am learning more and more about photoshop, so I think it be fun to create the invitation.

Final Project 3 Ryan

Here is my final design for the album cover.  I was just wondering if the blue on the front cover resembles fire or water.  I was aiming for water, but my one roommate said it looked like fire.  Also, I didn't include any information that would be on the back cover, such as copyright stuff, record label, etc.  This information would be very small and in the corners.
