Project 5 Final Documents

Dr. B,

Attached are all the project 5 documents in one PDF.

I have also uploaded my book design to Blurb.com and sent you an "invitation" to view it, so hopefully that will work.  If for some reason it doesn't, please let me know and I will get a printed version to your office ASAP.

Thanks,

Mackenzie

Week 16: Project Log

This week I put the finishing touches on Project 4 and turned it in.  I still have a lot to do on project 5 such as perfecting the book format on Blurb.com and uploading my finished cover to the website. Project five shouldn't take too much time to finish up completely. I am confident that this project will turn out nicely within the next week.

Project 4: Business Card

Project 4 PMB

I am at a loss for the last persona for my business card.  If you have any good ideas, please share!  Also, the actual business card document is just an idea, I'm open to any and all suggestions.  I just thought it looked kind of like the classified ads in a newspaper which is where people look for jobs, and one of my goals with this card is to obtain a job.  Maybe that idea is totally lame, though.  Let me know what you think.  I plan to change the words on the background, but I'm not sure what exactly.

Thanks for all the help!

book cover This is a fantastic book cover (and book!).  Sure the words are oriented vertically so one must tilt his head to read the title, but it is interesting and surely grabbed my attention.  The bright red hand's contrast with the yellowish-white background is eye-catching alone, and the large, slightly-scribbly typeography only helps.  The alignment of the words are almost too much for the eye,

Project Log: Week 14

This week I spent a lot of time on both project 4 and project 5 management briefs.  On Tuesday we posted the PMQ for project 4 and continued work on project 5 PMB.  I had worked over the weekend to finish the PMB, so I focused on figuring out the best way to design an entire book.  This task seemed overwhelming but then I found out about Blurb.com.  I downloaded this free software and began to format the book in one of the templates provided on the program.

Business Card This does not look like a business card, but it is!  Believe it.  It is not only a card complete with important information, but inside is a hidden treasure of shamrock seeds.  It seems to me that most business cards look just like the one next to it, but this one would no doubt stand out among the masses.  Not only would it be intriguing to see a smiling face at the top of the card, but I

Project Log

This past week I put the finishing touches on Project 3.  I was definitely pleased with the final product when we turned it in today. I am still having some trouble uploading it to this very site, but hopefully all the kinks will be worked out by tomorrow morning.  I also finished my Project 4 Management Questionnaire and have posted it to my blog.  I have decided to create an out-of-the-ordinary business card for myself.
