This assessment has two parts.  For the first part, work with a small group.  For the second portion, please work individually.  When you have finished your responses to each, please print them out and give them to me.

Part I:  (15 minutes)

As a group, write a memo to a future English 420 class detailing what makes an excellent oral presentation.  Discuss both positives (things to strive for) and negatives (things to avoid).

Posting to Forums

To post your topic to the White Paper Forum, follow these steps:

Click on the "Forums" tab on the left-hand navigational bar (just under "log out").

Click on "White Paper Forum."

Within the White Paper Forum,  click on "post new forum topic."  Use the commenting function only to respond to someone else's idea, NOT to present your own topic.  In other words, each person should create their own topic within the white paper forum (do NOT create another forum).
