You said we were picking 5 songs for our CD's. Can I assume that one of the main points of the project is to create a cover that is reflective of the content of the CD?
As for the CD packaging, besides the CD label and the cover label, what do you mean by the lining. Are you talking about some type of booklet to go inside like you would see with a CD.
There have been a wide range of promotional materials for this project. There are some examples on the Project 2 page. Keep in mind also that the point isn't to find the most adaptable medium; it is to construct a specific work for a specific context.
Do you want the cover to reflect the songs we choose or just have an aesthetic appeal to it?
Will we be creating a CD and Cover Case to hand in, or is it all just going to be posted on the website?
Since the audience is primarily more specific, should we modify our design plans to narrow down this notion as to how our unique visuals appeal to certain subgroups that may all be interested in the same album?
I noticed that in week 6 and 7 there were no links pointing us to specific articles, do the bloggers need to go out and find an article to report on or will they be supplied at a later date
No, if you look at the calendar on those weeks you'll see that the bloggers will be locating and analyzing CD packages and promotional materials during those weeks.
Are we going to be shown examples?
