Final Illustrated Instructions
Posted March 26th, 2008 by maydaThis is the A-Team's final draft of our illustrated instructions project. This team consisted of Dane May and Myles Basso and our instructions were to show how to setup a wireless router using a Linksys product. Attached below is our project's final instructions and final revision memo. Also below is the links for our usability test and our proposal. The A-Team feels as though this was an excellent experience and hope other students like us be successful at setting up a Linksys wireless router.

Work Plan
Posted March 25th, 2008 by maydaAfter reading our comments taking another look at what we need to do to finalize our drafts, Myles and I have decided to add more content and more detail. We decided to cover a few more detailed instruction parts such as "Administration'"and "Status". We not only added more detail and content but revised our screenshots and made them more functional to our user. Our layout was not changed very much but only a little to get rid of some confusion for the user. After changing and adding a few different components of our Project 2, we should be all set to turn in our final drafts by Wednesday.

Project Log - Week 11
Posted March 21st, 2008 by maydaThis week Myles and I accomplished a lot of work. We first started off by meeting and discussing what we needed to do for the week. We also talked about the amount of work we were going to be splitting up. We shared our opinions on the usability test and came to an agreement of what questions should be on there for our final draft. Next we proceeded to discuss and complete the draft of our instruction sets. We worked very efficiently and helped each other when there was problems. Myles has been an excellent team member.

Individual Instructions Draft
Posted March 3rd, 2008 by jrlawrenHere is my Set of instructions for the setting up of a router. Let me know what you think.
Week 8 project log

Our group worked very well together, we thought of some good
ideas and we found out how to work together on a project that we will not be in
contact with each other in person. All our collaboration has taken place
online, although it’s frustrating not to be able to meet if we need to, we will
get through it. We found some good ideas and we got all our stuff done in a
timely manner. I believe this group will function successfully. We have
scheduled a meeting on Sunday night at 9pm. We are going to discuss more
objectives then.
