What can the writer
do to make the resume better tailored to the specific job being applied for?
I feel talking a little more about what you can do for the company.
Is the layout and design pleasing to the eye? Make at least
one suggestion for improving it.
The layout easy to ready and understand. I would try to
condense more to add some more information about what you personally can do for
the company/why should they hire you over someone else.
Does the resume fit comfortably within the page (as opposed
to being squished in or stretched out)? What can the writer do to improve it?
Yes it fits well in one page.
Is it easily readable (no confusing fonts, clearly marked
sections)? What improvements can be made?
It is easily readable.
Does it use typography (including headers and bold and
italics) appropriately and effectively?
It does use headers and footers, using bold font properly.
Is the most important information located on the left side
of the page and near the top whenever possible? Identify at least one part that
could be better placed.
Yes, the information is place correctly.
Does the content of the resume support the objective (if
there is one)? Explain.
I feel it does. You have stated what you want but again I
feel there could be more said about what you can bring to the company.
Is the resume too short? Where can it elaborate? Job skills?
Responsibilities? Education?
It is not too short but I feel there is always room for more
info.
Is material sequenced in order of importance and relevance?
Yes
Do bulleted items begin with action verbs? Are list items
ordered in terms of importance?
Yes
Does the resume avoid generalities and focus on specific
information and professional terminology?
I feel it does for the most part.
Does the resume pass Evaluation checklists on 228-229 of The
Thompson Handbook?
It does pass the checklist.
What other observations can you make about the resume?
I feel that more information could be added and the layout
is good.

What can the writer do to make the resume better tailored to the specific job being applied for?
Maybe just taylor it more towards the company and try to relate it a little more towrads them
Is the layout and design pleasing to the eye? Make at least one suggestion for improving it.
For your contact information maybe try and make it look more like when you head a letter. It looks too much like you were trying to squeeze it in. It kind of hard to find all of your contact stuff because of this.
Does the resume fit comfortably within the page (as opposed to being squished in or stretched out)? What can the writer do to improve it?
Yes it does fit fine. If any suggestion it looks like most the stuff is on the right side of the page when the important stuff needs to be on the left. Its not difficult to find or anything ut that is one suggestion maybe.
Is it easily readable (no confusing fonts, clearly marked sections)? What improvements can be made?
Yes, very easy to follow
Does it use typography (including headers and bold and italics) appropriately and effectively?
Yes
Is the most important information located on the left side of the page and near the top whenever possible? Identify at least one part that could be better placed.
Like I stated earlier, maybe the stuff could be shifted left some
Does the content of the resume support the objective (if there is one)? Explain.
Yes. She says how she wants to use her current knowledge in that field and all throught the resume she shows she is qualified. the job experience shows a good relation and so does the course work.
Is the resume too short? Where can it elaborate? Job skills? Responsibilities? Education?
No its not too short. It looks like she tried to cram it all in there because the name and contact information is all kind of crammed at the top.
Is material sequenced in order of importance and relevance?
I would switche the previous experience and coursework. Previous experience is more important than the coursework because thats where you learn most about the industry.
Do bulleted items begin with action verbs? Are list items ordered in terms of importance?
Yes, good job on this part
Does the resume avoid generalities and focus on specific information and professional terminology?
yes. does a good job on using the professional terminology.
Does the resume pass Evaluation checklists on 228-229 of The Thompson Handbook?
Yes
What other observations can you make about the resume?
One other suggestion would maybe bo to put the experience in order of most recent to least recent. This way they see what you have been doing in the past couple jobs recently instead of seeing what you did 5 years ago first. Overall great resume and good luck
