3. I have had an internship with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. All of the following are examples of what was
incorporated within the internship.

4. I am a Computer Information Technology major and I believe my main courses
that have helped me include CIT 380 and CIT 480 which have taught me a lot about
project management. I believe these will
be the closest to real world application out of all of my classes. We have done projects in these classes which
have showed us how to gather requirements, talk to users, and apply these to
help create user friendly systems.

5. I have not received any scholarships or awards.

6. I believe I am personable and can get along with anyone. I believe I take multiple opinions into
consideration before creating my own. I do
not think I have any special talents but I would like to learn to play the bag
pipe I think that would be great. I believe
my personable skills will hopefully allow me to have excellent relationships
with my fellow employees and bosses and also allow me to work my way through
the company quicker.

7. I have no skills in working with any particular group of people. I do not speak any other language besides English
fluently but I did take two years of French and two years of Spanish in high
school.

8. Being a computer technology major I feel as though I have a decent amount of
computer skills. I am proficient in MS
Office and also with database technology.
As of now I am looking into getting better with Adobe Photoshop.

9. I do not have any skills with a particular kind of equipment

This position will be in Charlotte
and will concentrate mostly on Generator rotor service projects. The position
will be a single point contact for internal and external customers. Individual
has ownership for assigned projects and is responsible to make sure all
drawings, material, manufacturing, etc are all on schedule to meet customer
requirements. Also responsible for overall budget of each assigned order and
reporting the estimate to complete on a monthly basis to management.

Reflection on Job 1

1. Why did you choose this job ad? Do you feel that you are qualified for
the position? I know I am not qualified for this position but it is
something I am very interested in pursuing. I believe with a better
understanding of their power generation sector I would be on my way to becoming
qualified.

2. How long has the ad been posted? If it has been posted for a long period
of time, are you sure that the position is still available? How? This ad was
just posted by monster on January 18th and I believe they will wait until they
have a certain amount of resumes before they begin their selection process.

3. Where is the company located? Are you willing to move if it is out of
state or in a foreign country? The company is very versatile because it is
international. This specific position is located in Charlotte, NC,
in which I would be very comfortable moving there as I had a three month
internship where I became familiar with the area.

4. Why is living in the area that the company is located appealing to you? Charlotte is a great
place for "up and coming" and young professionals to start their
career. The city itself is not too overwhelming such as a place like New York and the
nightlife is very excellent.
