All in all a good proposal.  I think there needs to be a little more focus on how the current situation is a problem for the students and the studet leaders.  It seems as if you went over how it saves paper and money, but this seems to mainly be geared toward the senior advisor.  Since this program is mostly focused on and benificial to students, I think they should be the focus of the proposal.

One of the really neat aspects of your proposal was that I actually got excited reading about this idea! I think this is a fantastic idea because it has great potential and outstanding applications to our educational environment in and out of the classroom. I found your paragraph about the client to be very interesting and quite informative. I knew some information about SI through my personal experience attending some sessions, but I think the detail you provided is very helpful. I have never heard of google docs, but I am firmiliar with other google programs and impressed with each of them. In your paragraph titled "Google Documents" I really liked the way you stated a specific goal. I thought this was helpful because it was concise, clear, and effective.

Overall, I was really impressed with this proposal.  I really, really like the idea.  Google Docs is a great application to introduce to organizations, especially student ones that have limited physical space.  An organization of mine at school uses Google Docs to store most of our stuff and it works really well.  As with all Google Apps, I think it's important to stress that you have to have a Google account to use the application.  You might also note that this doesn't mean that they have to utilize a gmail account.  I hope you're successful in convincing SI to use the google docs application.  You might also highlight the ways that SI could grow using Google Apps (students being able to access study material or whatnot).  Also, it's important to finalize work assignments amongst your teammates.  Good luck!

I liked your description of the Supplemental Instructions (SI) program in the Client section in order to present the great benefits the SI program delivers, as well as the need for a program such as Google Documents in order to revive the program.  I also liked how you reiterated these needs and how easy this Google Docs solution is in the Google Docs section.  I found a grammatical error in the third sentence in the Google Docs section.  I think you have a great proposal that shows you have really thought this project through and your client will greatly benefit in the end.

program when it comes to the transfer and access of files. I am not familiar with the program myself and
look forward to seeing more on this. The
proposal looks good and I think the client is a very good target. The formatting on the document also looks good
with the paragraphs and the titles in bold for them. It looks like you have a good start on how you
are going to be dividing up the work to complete this project. The one thing you may want to add is a heading
stating that it’s a memorandum and who it’s to, from, the date, and subject.

This seems like a very good project and Supplemental Instruction could benefit from the use of it immensely.  Since I have a Google account, I have been able to utilize the various features that are incorporated in Google Docs.  Currently I am working on a project with a team.  Google Docs uses the version instances so that you can go back to a previous version.  This could be a great thing for the SI departmetn so that they do not have to waste unnecessary paper, all while receiving great feedback almost immediately.

This seems like a great way for the Supplemental Instruction program to better coordinate the material that is distributed to the instructors.  This could be good to also post what works and what does not.  The SI sessions that I went to were somewhat disorganized and the activities that we did were not very helpful to me.  The other students did not seem to interested in the activities either but the instructor was helpful when not having to follow a sheet.  If instructors will have an opportunity to pass down lessons learned through the process, the SI program may be more successful than it is now.

Great work in presenting relevant information on your client and your software. The level of detail is very informative and engaging throughout your memo. That leads to a more persuasive document, and also provides a good workplan for your drafts and your final deliverables. Nice job.

Writing style is really strong. Relevant sentences and verbs produce a high readablity. More descriptive headings and shorter paragraphs will make this even more readable. Make sure you use a proper header for your memo.
