I feel that this is a good target group to try to help here at Purdue. Students such as myself could really benefit from such a cause. I personally liked how the topics were split into different headings. I like this way of writing, it helps to keep things organized and makes the reader think they are reading less then what they actually are. Applying google docs to SI i feel is a benefit because any application where students can benefit academically I feel is a good thing. Over all this is a good topic in my mind and a good proposal draft.
I think you guys have an excellent idea. It would really save a lot on the paper trail and would allow for the file sahring a lot more. I really like your guys organization on all of this and it makes it easy to follow. The sections are broken up well and everything is clear and easy to find. I think you have picked a good audience because I think this group could definatly benifit from this. I think your group is definatly on the right track with everything. I hope that they want your help because I think you guys could really offer them a lot of good ideas. Good Job
This is an interesting program, and an interesting application of it as well. You give a lot of good information about the client. You also describe the project well, though you could probably go into a little more detail on what exactly you guys are going to be teaching them, like which aspects of the program. You also seem to have a better idea of what you’re doing for the presentation than we do. But the one week point I see is that you don’t enumerate team tasks, or anything of the like. I think it would be helpful to explain who is going to be working with what on the project, or if you’re all going to be collaborating equally on everything, that should be said too. Overall, good job on the draft.
I think you guys have a killer idea, one that has a good chance of actually getting implemented. I remember SI from my freshmen year, and I'm still suprised to find out that it is in a state of needing revival with as hard as some of those courses are. Anyways Google Docs is a great tool for many reasons. First off, allowing an organization to access all of its documents from anywhere in the world is awesome! Secondly being able to convert to many different formats, including PDF, is very handy. Finally, of course, it's free! I think your proposal is very strong, and makes sure to mention these great features. Best of luck in you project!
I like the goals of you proposal, the could make life alot easier. I would suggest that you make sure that the reader understands a bit better what SI. Also the proposal is a bit lacking in an explaination of what google documents can really do. I really think that over all you have a great proposal. Just thoes few suggestions along with some formating things to make it a bit more professional in appearence.
