Project Log Week 16

This week the deam finished the multimedia presentation and the user documantation drafts and posted them both. We all kept in contact by email and would email our comments back and forth. It worked out ok but since there was a lack of communication the work load didnt get divided up evenly. Overall we achieved out end goal.
Project Log Week 15

For this week in Project 3, the Client Based
Service Learning Project Team Boilers posted
each of our individual drafts of the usability tests. Once everyone had posted we took each test and combined them to make one usability test. There has been a a little bit of lack of communcation in the group. But things seem to be getting done. But other than that we are making good progress on the report.

Week 13 - Project Log

For week 13 we got into our groups and exchanged our information. We decided on "Team Boilers" for our team name. Also we discussed possible topics and clients for project three. The idea we are leaning towards most is an organization that helps homeless men Benton Harbor Michigan. The organization will pay for the men to fix up old furniture to get it ready for resale. Our idea is to utilize a website such as ebay to help them sell their furniture for a greater profit, and get the organizations name out on the internet.
Project Log Week 11

This week my team and I were able to post our draft of the illustrayed instructions and usability test. I have had a busy schedule between 20 credit hours and a full time job to meet or talk with my group. They have stepped up and really helped me out with what I am lacking on. So they had the instructions pretty much completed. I just looked them over made a few minor changes and wrote the conclusion. I believe we will have no trouble with making any other deadlines.

Week 9 Project Log

This week was another big step in the project, because we got a solid set of instructions. Even though it is only a rough draft it is a good start because when we started the three of us all had different ideas of what we wanted to do. We decided to use pieces of everyones ideas and combined them into one set of instructions. This was good because it actually simplified some of the ideas we had and would make it easier for a rookie MATLAB user to understand it. As far as the usability test goes I think it worked out pretty good. We seem able to make the mid March deadline.
