Week 16 Log
Posted April 29th, 2008 by kingmjThis week was by far the busiest week of my entire college career. I had several huge EET projects that all had to be finished. I did get a lot of progress done on this project as well. I finished my instruction draft and began to revise it. We've been keeping up a constant email communication in the group to ensure that everyone is making the progress that we need. We're a little behind but I think we should be able to meet the deadline of the project.
Revised Usability Study

Week 14 Log
Posted April 17th, 2008 by kingmj(Woops forgot to post this earlier) The past week was very productive. We had a few scheduled chats which led to forming the basis of our project. We finished drafting the client contact email and sent it off to W9YB. We recieved a message back from the president expressing his interest. We also put together our proposal and divided up the team into individual tasks. We've had great communication and participation and I think this will make our project a success.

Work Plan
Posted March 24th, 2008 by kingmjOur instructions are coming along nicely and on schedule. We do need to do our usability test for a peer group either tonight of tuesday. My portion of the instructions need to have a summary added to them since I plain forgot that I didn't have one. Then we need to aggregate our instructions together and probably pick a format so that the whole document flows together well. Finally we also need to integrate feedback from our test into our instructions.
Project log Week 11
Posted March 21st, 2008 by kingmjI had a very productive week this week. I finished up what was left of the instructions, and I proceaded to do a massive overhaul of the formatting. When I had finished the instructions it looked like someone had just barfed words and pictures on a page. I went back and eliminated some of the more conversational aspects and made discrete, bulleted points. This made it much more professional. I also made some conventions for bolding and italicizing so that users could find things easier. Then Nate and I put our parts together for the draft. I realized after reading the reading responses that I had completely neglected to include a summary. I will certainly have to rectify that situation if I want people to know what they are getting into.
Project Log Week 9
Posted March 6th, 2008 by kingmjAnother productive week for the team. I worked on the draft of the instructions, at least the first part of them. The rest will come over the break. We certainly will meet the minimum and most likely go over. We've had great communication and teamwork thus far and we should prove fairly successful at finishing the project. We also worked up a test of usability draft to show how to test our instructions. I hope that our instructions help someone out, I know that they could come in quite handy.
Individual Instructions Draft
