This week our group got a lot of work done. However, i wish i could have contributed more than what i did. I had to work every day and had class on top of that. Our group did a great job of communicating and working together to coordinate this project and i think we are going to get a very good grade on it. The group has worked very hard to get this project done and some of the members really do have a passion to help this mission to sell place. We began to put the finishing touches on the project and prepared to hand it in for a grade.

This week was fairly uneventful, however we did get some stuff done on friday. We took everyones ideas and placed them in the usability report and found how to make the report work the best. Our group seems to put things off until the last day and it is something that bothers me because i have a hard time finding time to do work on fridays because i have too much stuff going on with class and work. I think we need to do a better job of communicating with each other and get stuff done early in the week. if we do this there is no reason why we shouldnt get an A for the project.

This week has progressed very well, our group has finsihed everything that they needed for the week, we are just finalizing our work that is due today. We have having a very hard time getting people to communicate and the work thus far has been unevenly distributed because of our schedules. I am one of those people who cannot work on stuff until late at night usually and because of this, someone else jumps on the opportunity to get work done. I hope this doesnt effect my participation grade.

The readings that we had this week were somewhat useful, i knew most of the information and knew the importance of having an effective power point but it is also always good to refresh on information like that because when we are quick to put a slide show together its easy to do what it tells us not to do. This is also the first time i have finished all of my reading responses for a week. I usually get stuck on 2 or 4 but finished all 5 this week.

Here is my individual usability study, i was very unsure how to conduct this because we have not done anyting yet that would require this test to be done. If someone could tell me what is the deal with it, that would be great...

This week was fairly unorganized because our group in not all on the same page yet. Its going to be very hard for us to meat together, even online in our blog sessions because everyone seems to be on different schedules. I thought the purpose of taking an online class was to be able to work on your own schedule, not someone elses. We have a tough challenge ahead of us if we are going to make a good grade on this project. So far this week we have created an letter to send to the trinity mission group to help them with their sales by setting up an online account for them to use to help them increase their sales. The company is a lot like a salvation army or a goodwill. We exchanged emails and AOLIM and hopefully we will be able to make this work. Also i hope we can break down the work evenly, it will be tough with our schedules though.

I feel that our project is coming to and end. We have most of our information to were we need it and people have commented on it and we have listened to them. We need to do the following things as a group to finalize our project

Check both for grammatical errors

Make sure we incorporated all our feedback into both documents

Review each again

Finalize our work for submition

After we complete these steps which shouldnt take too long we should be ready to submit our work for a grade.

This week went fairly well. We were both very busy and didnt talk a lot, however we to talk to each other when we find time on AIM. It is the best tool for comunication. This week we updated our Usability test and our Instructions and posted them online for everyone to see and use. Hopefully we recieve some responces so we can update it to make it that much better and one step closer to hand in. I feel we have completed a lot expecially with the distance barrier we must compete against. I feel we have put ourself in a good position for this project.

This reading gave us a good idea of how to make our instructions a lot better and more clear to the reader. I thought our instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the pictures were incorporated very well. One thing that we didnt have was special notices. We will try to incorporate them into the instructions if we find it necisary.

A good illistrated instruction paper should be easy to follow and without question, because the purpose of the material is to show someone how to do something without you actually having to be there to do it for them. If its clear and easy to follow and the person can do it without question, that is what makes a good usability test as well as instruction.
