I read the section on using transition in writing to signal structure to readers because i always have problems with transitioning from on thought to another. There was a list of transitional phrases to help you out: to indicate sequences(first second, third etc), to show position (below, beyond, here), to emphasize a point(even, indeed, in fact), to provide an example(for example, for instance, namely), to show addition of ideas(additionally, again, also and, as well), to show similarity(but, however, in spite of) and the list continues. Now i can refer to this list to improve my transitions in my research paper.
