Last week of reading

While reading about how to go about arguing your points, I found deduction to be most helpful
For example:
Terroist are those you induce terror upon others
Lab animals are terrorized and mistreated everyday by humans
Therefore humans are terrorists to animals
Basically deduction is identifying what A and C have in common by using B.

Readings for this weeks

While reading the girl's essay, it definately came seemed logic as to why editors of newspapers, magazines, etc. do this. They are there to show a point and persuade their audience to lean towards a goal, either bad or good. Her analysis of the picture was accurate, especially the one that looked like the "mug shot" it made her look like she was a criminal, even though the NAACP was in charge of this article, which makes no sense.

Reading (347-379)

I noticed a relation of our topic in class to the reading. In reality tv the producers, editors, etc. want you, the viewer, to focus on more of what is around the scenes and in the scenes and why they are more important than other scenes, same as photographers; they choose specific pictures that are important to the viewer. Photographers can take many pictures but only a select few might be stating something important.
Photographers have to be thorough about every little detail, such as a family picture, who is where, what and where they are looking towards (vectors), etc.

Butler University

Butler University's home page wasn't as appealing of what I had hoped for. Just the font, for going to other links, alone was complicated, it was very small. Yes, there were many pictures, but none were taken from the campus. I feel as a college student, you would have many questions as to why you would go to this University and by its page alone, more than likely you wouldn't choose it.
