Pages 211 and 212 focus on the conclusions in papers. They tell you to stray away from the abrupt ending, the "thats all folks". I personally have an extremely hard time with my conclusions. Like they say in CDA, I want to make a strong bold statement in my ending that will stick with my readers, but I'm usually to eager to get it all over with to actually focus on my ending.

I found the page on writing for the audience very interesting. To become a successful writer (no matter what genre) you have to pay special attention to who you're writing to. Especially when writing for a magazine, newspaper, or novel if you don't capture the attention of your audience no one's going to read it. You have to imagine your audience and the best way to captivate and entertain them.

The reading for this week really calls on you to be creative when your researching. I know that when I'm finding material for my papers whether I'm on internet or in a library I always get bored. I would only do interviews or movies if the project actually called for me to do so, and I remembered that those were always my favorite kinds of projects. This chapter reminds me that research doesn't always have to be tedious, boring, and stressful, but it can also sometimes be fun and involving. You just have to figure out what ways are the most fun for you.

The Mass Production of Students

The message that we preceived from this video is that there needs to be a change in the educational system. The students of today are doing to much. We are not taking care of themselves. A Lot of students don't care about learning. College has become a way of mass producing citizens of society that can just go along and do work, it's become more of a factory then something empowering. School has become more about grades. The way he films appeals to our attenion span, by having little bites of information being poped up at us. Thats also saying something about how are minds are working today.

Global warming is such a controversial issue because it is such a frightening reality to accept, and to accept that we have contributed to it is even more frightening. The trapping of heat by the gases in the atmosphere is a natural thing that the earth does to regulate temperature and to keep its self habitable. In the past couple of decades scientists have seen a monumental increase in the temperature of the earth's surface – this is do to the overflow of the gases, that keep the earth warm, being released into the atmosphere by humans.

I also think that for a clothing website this is very poorly desinged. Although it may be very chic and fun it doesn't do it's purpose at being able to find clothing easily. It's to all over the place.
