Dear Self,
Just to inform you, this is your 19 year old self writing to catch you up on my life. Right now I’m one week away from spring break of my freshman year at Purdue. I have two tests this week that I feel like I’m behind on. I really hope I don’t mess things up for you. I’m going try my best to put myself in good academic standing so that I can get a good job for you. I’ve been trying my whole life to make life easier for you. It would be a huge favor if you would write me a letter to give me a little bit of insight. I need to know what to watch out for and what I can do to keep from messing up. If you write me that letter, life will be much easier for both of us. Also, could you give me a clue as to how Elizabeth and I turn out? I’m so anxious to see what the future holds for us and I suppose you have the answers. In addition, if you can think of any inventions that have revolutionized the way people live in your time, you could include them in the letter so that I can patent the idea and make lots of money. Then, I wouldn’t need to finish up college. I’m kidding of course. I fully intend on finishing college so that you can have a steady future. Please send my regards to Mom and Dad.
Your younger, more agile self,
Ben Kline
