This website will house our course calendar, assignments, blogs, and other resources for our English class. You will not be using Blackboard nor WebCT/Vista in this class. Instead, you will use this site: a course management interface called Drupal. The Drupal system allows us to have a community site where we can blog, share research information, trade written and designed work for peer review, and collaborate our writing online and in the classroom.
The first thing you will need to do is create an account. When you select a user name, do not use your first and last name. Please use only your first name, your first name and initial of your last name, or an invented name. When you are prompted for your "real full name," please do include your real name. The email address you type in must be your Purdue account. Fill in as many other fields as you'd like. You may even upload an "avatar" (no more than 85 x 85 pixels).
After you've requested your account, your password will be sent to your Purdue email. Once you log on to the website using this new password, you may change it to something you can remember (or else write it down somewhere safe!).
