30 and still the same old Pat?

Dear Pat,
This is your 18 year old self. As you probably remember this wasnt an easy time for you. You were going through a lot of bad things and it was hard to get through it. Right now your work ethic isnt where it should be. Hopefully when you read this note your work ethic would have changed and gotten much better. Im sorry I had to go through this stage but I promise that it will only make you stronger. Anyways, I hope that all is well when I get to be your age. I hope by then I have something to look forward too in the morning. I hope by now you have a wife and maybe kids. But If not, I really hope you are happy and I promise that i will do everything in my power to make sure that you will be living the good life by your age.
Sincerly,
Your 18 year old self

Dear Patrick Get off Your ass!

Dear Patrick,
This is yourself eight years in the future of where you are now in your life. Patrick right now in your life I know you are struggling in school and to be honest buddy its only going to get harder for you. You do your homework now downstairs where your mom is. I would reccomend going upstairs and getting your homework done there because its quiet and a lot easier. Bad news though your not going to go to Duke and be a part of the Cameron crazies. I know it looked really fun and all. But you go to Purdue now and its a good school. The best advice I can give you as you grow up and become older is, you need to think before you talk, and ask yourself is what im saying relevent, mean spirited,or sounds really dumb, if the answer is yes to any of those dont say your thought. If you study in a quiet place your grades will go up, if you think before you talk you will have more friends than you can ever dream of. Anyways I hope that you enjoy the rest of the 4th grade.

Dont ditch school and go snowboarding on Valentines day Becuase you wont find love

My story takes place at the Mountain High resort in Southern California. My lesson was a very basic one. When you fall from a great height in any sport don't put your wrists down to break your fall. I learned to snowboard in the 6th grade and I had really began to improve. I was getting very good I was doing rails and smaller jumps and I could do a few tricks. So on valentines day my sophomore year. I ditched school with a couple of my friends and we went snowboarding at Mt. High. It is a pretty good resort it has a lot of good jumps and rails. Some of there jumps are really big and probably shouldnt be tried by people who arent very good at snowboarding should try. So my friends dared me to go off one of these jumps and try a 360 tail grab. And when I was that age I wasnt afraid of anything. So I went off the jump and did the trick and got a lot of air. But I lost control in mid air and I knew I was going to fall. Sure enough I did fall and I broke my fall with my left wrist.

Quiet and Convenient in Hicks

Well I thought my blog posted yesterday but it apperently did not post. But my favorite place to study at Purdue is at the hicks library. I like it there because it is really quiet. When I go down the stairs to go to the library I dont go to the main library i go to the right where nobody sits. I sit in the sofa's and read and study and do my homework. Hicks is also convienent because there is a computer lab so I can print off stuff or do homework on the computer. So the reason I really like Hicks is because it is quiet and convienent.

I have lived my whole life in Southern California so coming to the midwest was a big change but a nice one at that. I am currently majoring in Industrial Management, with that degree I hope to give myself a leg up on those who just have a management degree. In high School i was very invovled I was in Student Government,Habitat for Humanity, and I was on the golf team all 4 years. Sometimes I miss playing competitive golf but then i get over it. So Far I have really enjoyed myself here at Purdue and I hope that the future Is even more fun than this past semester has been.
