Wheel Chairs Are Very Bad Things
When I was about eleven, me and a friend of mine had some spare time at the church building until we had to leave for a youth rally. In the past, we had been told not to play with the wheel chairs in the lobby but we never understood why. What harm could be done?

Pot' n Derby Study Time
In the time I have been at Purdue, I have tried many different places to study. I have found that I get my best studying done at the Pot'n Derby in Wiley Hall. If you don't know what Pot'n Derby is, it is a half lounge half study area in the basement of Wiley. You walk in and see vending machines of all types on the left, a group of booths and tables surrounded by wooden railings in the middle, and a long row of restaurant-like booths that line the right wall. The room is about thirty yards long and ten yards wide. It is usually silent except for the buzz of the vending machines and the small voices of study groups. The room smells of new plastic and tile cleaner. It is always clean in there with no trace of trash. I like it because it is not dead silent and drab like a study room and because I can often find people who are studying the same thing that I am if I need help. I usually sit at a booth on the right side and read.

Who is Ben Kline anyway? I can tell you because I am Ben Kline. I am from Kokomo Indiana. If you do not know, Kokomo is a city about an hour east of Lafayette. I really like art, music, and sports. I am currently a member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. The Glee Club is a men's chorus at Purdue. It has been around for over 100 years and strives to share the traditions of Purdue with the world. It really is the main thing that takes up my time here at Purdue besides my classes. I love my life and I'm really starting to like college. I was sceptical at first because my classes were extremely hard compared to high school. I'm really excited about next year because my girlfriend, Elizabeth, will be coming to Purdue. Anyway, Ben Kline is just a normal Purdue student who enjoys normal student activities.
