To Whom It May Concern,

As a sophomore at Purdue University, I can take pride that this school's name is such a heavyweight in the academic world. A big bone I have to pick with the university, however, is the difficulty I have studying on campus.
Being an undergraduate student in the School of Management, I primarily study at Hicks, Stewart Center libraries, or Rawls. I've studied at a few other places on campus and there is always a recurring theme amongst these areas. There are just not enough study rooms!

Subject: Suggestions for Ease of Campus Studying

Dear Dean’s Office Committee,

My name is Nick Price. I am currently a fifth year Senior in the school of CFS. Recently, studying on campus made me realize we have a problem here at Purdue. Because I do much studying in the library at night, it came to my attention that there is far too much noise in Hick’s library. The only way someone might be able to concentrate is by listening to their headphones to block out the surrounding noises.

I am a Sophomore in the College of Liberal Arts and Krannert School of Management. As a Purdue student who often is faced with the difficulty of finding a study location, I appreciate your efforts to improve the situation on campus. Hoping to help you with your project, I have identified two problems and possible solutions that would make studying on campus more accessible.

Hello, my name is Evan Powers and I am a senior in Retail Management here at Purdue. It has come to my attention that it has become increasingly difficult to study on campus. There are a few low-cost ways to improve studying such as noise management.

I am senior here at Purdue and was writing this email in regards to the ever diminishing study conditions on campus. Judging from your platform in the previous election, you understand that there are a variety of problems that exist with the current setup and structure of the studying system. Simply put, there are not enough places on campus to study. This leads to congestion, confusion and over-crowding of the few libraries that we have, especially during tests and finals.
