English 420, Business Writing

Hey all,

This will be the last work blog posted under the white paper project. Over the last week, we largely devoted our time to preparing our presentation. We decided not to use a standard software such as power point for our presentation. Instead, we opted to use Movie-maker. We each brought in the various pictures/slides that we wanted to incorporate into the presentation, and Brad put the presentation together.

Hey everyone,

Over the past week we have gotten together a few times to practice our presentation and to ensure the timing was correct. A few days ago Akshay emailed our rough draft to us and we also received the comments that are on our paper and have been making changes to that when time allows. As of right now our teams own due date of our paper is to have it done and emailed to one specific person by 5 on Sunday.

Hello Group,

This was a very productive week for the group. Although we had another extension on the due date of our presentation, we decided to have it done by Tuesday night so that we would be able to practice a couple times. I put together the video that we used for our presentation and the actual presentation itself went rather smoothly.

Hey group,

Over break, I did fix a couple of glitches in the outline that we presented to Mr. Hannah prior to spring break. I also continued to work on microsoft publisher to help format our cover page. For the most part, I have been looking through iMovie HD as a potential resource for our presentation on Friday. I have also decided on the things that we should include in our handout for the class:
- A page showing the cumulative ergonomic solutions/findings
- A page giving a background on CTS

I hope you all had a good spring break, I definitely enjoyed some the relaxation and meals I got back home. Anyways, for the project this week I think we should be in a pretty good spot. Brad definitely has had experience with moviemaker which will make the presentation a little easier to handle.
