English 420, Business Writing

Our final week working on the project was pretty busy. We presented our solutions to the Board of Directors for Knight Corporation on Monday, and it went well. We all worked individually on a portion of the paper to revise and edit it after reading over the comments that were on our rough draft. We then met to combine our parts and do any final editing and revising that needed to be done. I feel confident in our work. We have worked really well together.

This past week was extremely busy for us. We had to give our presentation on Monday and revise the rough draft of our white paper. Luckily our presentation went well and it was nice to get it out of the way. We put a lot of time and effort into our white paper rough draft so there was only a little work to do to create the final draft. We each worked hard independently and then collaborated as team to put it together. I am very satisfied with the final draft and feel confident in our grade. Now we need to complete our assessments and get going with our service learning project.

This past week was hectic trying to get our presentation together, our final draft, making a proposal for the service learning project and trying to get in contact with the executive director of the YWCA. On Monday, we presented our solutions to the class and the "Board of Directors." They asked many good questions which we tried to incorporate as much as possible into our final draft.

Over the past week our group has met multiple times to finalize both the White Paper project and presentation. It has definitely been a busy week for the health care team; however, we have worked diligently together and separately in order to bring about the finished project.

This is very late, but I just noticed we had a research/work blog due this week. I thought that Mark said during our meeting last Wednesday that we had no blogs due. I noticed some people had written some, so I checked it and turns out we did.

I am sorry this is late. We finished up our rough draft last week before spring break. We met to add design elements to our rough draft which was just a plain paper at that point. We had combined all of our assigned written parts to form the paper. We have all been working well together. We need to meet to start work on our presentation for Wednesday and to look at the changes we need to make to our rough draft.

I apologize that this is late but I got caught up in Spring Break and such. Last week we finally got our rough draft together. We all met in the computer lab to add some charts, tables, and a little color. I think our overall product looked very nice. Now in class today, we'll get our rough draft back and then we have two days before we give our presentation. Even though that isn't much time, I believe our team will pull through and deliver an amazing presentation. We work so well together the time frame won't restrict us. I imagine we must meet sometime tomorrow?

Before spring break, our team worked on incorporating all of our individual parts into the whole white paper. On Wednesday, we met and designed the paper and put in tables and charts. Friday, Jamie and I turned in our rough draft in class. Since this week has been spring break, we have not worked on anything. However, our final presentation is on Wednesday so it will be necessary to get together and work on that in the next two days. I feel like we have a lot of work to complete in the next couple of days. We will probably talk about a time to meet and finish our project in class tomorrow.

Just before Spring Break the Healthcare Benefits team met to put together our white paper rough draft. We had previously decided to divide the paper among the four members and try to brainstorm about design ideas. When we got together we were able to put our individual sections of the paper together, add desing elements, and insert charts & graphs that would help us present the information in a clear and concise way. The rough draft turned out really well and we were able to incorporate ideas from each of the group members and provide the necessary information in each segment of the paper.
