Darling- Workblog 5![]() This past week I have been busy revising our draft of the white paper. After our meeting with Mr. Hannah on Friday, we have decided to rewrite the paper with a different mindset and layout. We have also been busy working on the design of our white paper. We have decided to make the layout simple, while including mostly graphs and charts to allow our concepts to be easily understood.

Darling- Work Blog 4![]() This past week, we didn't assign any work on our white paper to be done. The draft was turned in during class on Wednesday and we are awaiting the comments in class on Monday. We have discussed some details of our design and decided to write it in InDesign and present through PowerPoint. When we receive those comments back, we will revise our draft and begin on the design of the white paper. Next week will be a busy week for finalizing our paper and planning our presentation.

Jake Austin work blog #3This last week I did a lot of research about the differences between the HMO and PPO plans. For the white paper I will be writing the introduction and conclusion along with putting the paper together. During the week I saw a infomercial on Humana and it led me to a site called www.explorehumana.com. The website gave me very good insight on the differences between the plans from what they are to the numbers involved with them.

Darling- Work Blog 3![]() This week we focused on writing the rough outline of our white paper. We split the paper into equal parts so that we could each have something to write about. I was to write about the second solution to the health care problem with the Knight Corporation. This solution included switching the plan from an HMO to a PPO. In all of the solutions that we came up with, we decided to offer a cafeteria plan with each. This will allow more flexibility within the company for the employees and also the employers.

Grover- work blog #3![]() I worked on creating the first option for the company to choose from. This option reduces some cost for the company, but keeps strong ties with employees. The company wants to reduce costs and keep employees happy. The company pays 75% of the health care cost. I will be working on the draft of this part for Friday. I need to research options for covering vision and dental care and decide what to do with those options. I also need to find out how chapter 125 fits into this plan.
