English 420, Business Writing

This week, we started working on our rough drafts. I created the inside of the brochure that we are making, and Jamie created the front side. The brochure incorporates all the elements that we discussed with Shannon White. It tells what the after school program is, why you should volunteer with the YWCA, and finally it has a part that you can tear out and send in to the YWCA.
Brittany worked on the flyer. This flyer helps to catch people's attention and get them interested. Finally, Andy started making the Facebook group for the upcoming YWCA groups. He is also working on the instructions that Shannon can use to update the group and even make her own page so she can be the administrator.
We also met with Mark to discuss where our project is going. I am kind of concerned right now that we are going to have a lot of work to be doing the next couple of weeks. We need to set up an appointment with Shannon so that she can look at our rough drafts and give us her opinion. This week it was hard to get in touch with her because she was out of town.
