English 420, Business Writing

This past week we have gotten much done on the Service Learning Project. On Monday, we met with Matt at Nine Irish Brothers to discuss the layout of the orientation guide and the program we wanted to use to construct the document (Microsoft OneNote). We also met with the main bartender, and part owner, Alex. He revised the list of bartender's duties and helped us create a list for special cleaning duties for the bartenders on specific days of the week. With Matt, we revised the orientation guide and told him our suggestions for the document. At the end of the meeting, we decided to get something together to show him for the next Monday (April 14th) in Microsoft OneNote.

After the meeting, my group decided to meet the next day, Tuesday the 8th, in a computer lab to do some work on the document. During that meeting, we typed up some of the handwritten notes from our meeting the previous day, and I delegated duties to group members. Each member, including myself, has something to do and complete for the project to return to me by Monday (April 14th) before our next meeting with Matt.

I believe we are right on track with this project and will complete the documents to the liking of our "client."
